Hello! My name is Jenny Brewer. I am a User Interface artist in the games industry, currently based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
I started my career as a UI Artist on Fable The Journey for Lionhead Studios in 2011, shortly after graduating with a first in Computer Games Design BA (hons) at the University of Wales, Newport. I have had the opportunity to work on a number of different games over the years, ranging from indie to AAA titles.
I studied as a traditional artist in south Wales, including A level qualifications and an Art Foundation diploma with Coleg Sir Gâr. My interest in graphic design and computers encouraged me to learn how to create art digitally. I particularly enjoy creating images based on wildlife and nature, something I have been interested in since a young age. Occasionally I may draw something based on a video game, some of my favourites being Fable, Spyro the Dragon, Borderlands and The Witcher series.
I love listening to music as I work, my favourite band being The White Stripes. However, more recently I can be found jumping around to the likes of Electric Six, Metallica, Steel Panther and The Offspring.
To try and keep in shape, I enjoy going on countryside walks with my husband and young daughter - also a great opportunity for taking some reference images!
